Why Not? - Good Question. Open for dinner from 4pm until late,
Why Not offers excellent European cuisine at very reasonable prices
together with friendly service and an intimate ambience. The menu
features a a wide selection of western favourites plus an extensive
list of quality wines from around the world. The friendly
downstairs bar is a great place to enjoy a pre- or post-dinner
drink and the venue is a favourite with the city's expat

same question. An intimate, stylish yet laid back bar &
restaurant situated close to the centre of town, Why Not combines a
friendly European welcome with a taste of colonial Indochine.
The downstairs bar is large and welcoming, providing a welcome
respite from the heat and hustle of the Saigon streets, while the
classic dining room upstairs offers a comfortable setting for
intimate dinners a deux or for larger parties.
The style may be European at heart but Why Not offers a hearty
welcome for everyone. The food is good, the wine list extensive,
the service friendly & efficient and the prices are more than
reasonable.

The menu at Why Not is both extensive and exquisite offering
discerning diners a broad choice of dishes inspired by cuisines
from around the world. While the emphasis is on European
specialities (including more than a few German favourites) guests
at the cosy first floor restaurant will be inspired by the wide
range of choices available a la carte.
We invite you to choose from a selection of tasty soups
including Potato with Sausage, or perhaps a portion of our famous
Home Made Pate, Avocado Salad with market-fresh Tiger Prawns or a
classic Caesar Salad - and that's just for starters.
Lovers of seafood will be delighted with our selection of fish
dishes including a Grilled Lemon Sole or Tuna Steak with
Rataouille. Our main courses include a variety of imported meats
such as Veal Fillet Cordon Bleu, T-Bone or Rib Eye steaks, Lamb
Rack with Thyme Sauce, Stuffed Pork Rolls and a traditional Steak
Tartar.
Finally, why not round off your meal with one of our tempting
and mouth-watering desserts: Choose your favourite from a rich
Chocolate Mousse, Creme Brulee, Crepes Suzette (with or without
Cointreau) and many more options to tickle the taste buds.
Every day our chefs prepare a choice of daily specials offering
exceptional value for money and we also accommodate vegetarians
with a variety of non-meat dishes suitable for all tastes. Children
are always welcome and well catered for at Why Not with a special
kids' menu offering all their favourite bites (and all at small
