Foreign Correspondents' Club of Cambodia

The Foreign Correspondents' Club of Cambodia first opened its doors to an expectant public in 1993 in the heart of Phnom Penh. Housed in a stunning restored French-colonial villa overlooking the Tonle Sap river, the boutique hotel, restaurant and bar has since gone from strength to strength, and has long been a Phnom Penh landmark for visitors, foreign residents and locals alike.

The FCC (as it is locally known) set the standard for the city's wining and dining venues with high quality products, truly attentive and professional service and serious attention to detail - attributes that embody the style and ambiance of all FCC operations throughout the region.

In the new millennium the company expanded the brand with the opening of the FCC Angkor, another truly beautiful property in Siem Reap - the gateway to the Angkor Wat temple complex. Located in a former governor's mansion the FCC Angkor offers a range of stylish and comfortable rooms, a gourmet international restaurant, lively bar and the luxurious Visaya Spa.

The brand continued to grow with the FCC management company's opening and operating of a gourmet delicatessen and delivery service - Cafe Fresco - in Phnom Penh and also the city's only Spanish restaurant and tapas bar - Pacharan - which also recently opened its doors in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam.

And, visitors to Rangoon in Burma (Myanmar) will appreciate the same quality of product, superior service and attention to detail enjoyed at the above-mentioned venues at the group's local operation - 50th Street.

Finally, despite the name, the FCC is open to all - indeed the original is arguably the most popular venue in Phnom Penh among tourists, expats and business visitors - and reciprocal benefits apply to members of the 4th Estate from other Foreign Correspondents' Clubs from around the world.
