Golfers will find plenty of choice in and around Saigon, with four fully-fledged golf courses within easy reach of the city centre plus an in-town 9-hole "pitch & putt" course, together with golf shops in all the major department stores and shopping malls. There are a number of golf tour operators based in the city all offering golf days to the local courses plus longer tours to Dalat, Phan Thiet, Vung Tau and beyond.
The Vung Tau course - Paradise - is especially easy to get to from the city, just over a hour on the ferry which leaves from the downtown port facilitiy. And there are a couple of new courses recently opened on the road to Vung Tau (the trip from Saigon takes around two hours by car).
