Carlsberg Masters Golf Tournament @ Chi Linh Star Golf - 4-7 Novmeber 2004 - Hanoi
Chi Linh Star Golf & Country Club will host the first Professional Golf Tournament in the north of Vietnam from 4th to 7th November 2004 - the Carlsberg Masters Vietnam. With prize money of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000 USD) at stake, the event is sure to attract a capacity field of one hundred and fifty six (156) of the best professional golfers from the Asian Tour including Carlsberg Malaysian Open winner Thongchai Jaidee, Jyoti Randhawa of India and China Masters player Zhang Lian-wei.

The club, one of the newest in Vietnam, is located about half way between Hanoi and the port city of Haiphong, around one hour by car from either city.
