Overlooking the banks of the Pek Kampong Bay River, the Bokor Mountain Lodge is housed in a stunning, lovingly renovated French colonial building, evoking memories of Kampot's bygone days as a popular expat holiday destination. Indeed the hotel is rapidly taking its rightful place as a much sought-after venue in the riverside town. The hotel, restaurant and bar represent a major contribution to Kampot's renaissance as a holiday destination for expats and tourists alike. With just six well-appointed guest rooms including a large family suite, the Lodge offers an intimate ambiance with attention to detail at every turn. All rooms are individually designed and furnished to the highest specifications in comfort and convenience, featuring quality en suite facilities, air conditioning, ceiling fans, cable television and wireless WiFi Internet access. And guests, we're sure, will be delighted to enjoy a leisurely brerakfast (included in the room rate), or perhaps an evening cocktail, in the private second floor lounge which affords splendid river and sunset views from its balcony.
The Lodge also boasts a staff to room ratio of 3 to 1, ensuring that guests are well attended to at all times, allowing them to relax in the knowledge that their every need will be taken care of. The management and staff are also able to arrange tours up Bokor Mountain (either as part of a group or individually with private car and guide), river cruises, motorcycle or bicycle hire, local tours and onward hotel bookings etc. Tariffs are seasonal and range from US$20 to US$45 per night, breakfast is included and laundry facilities are available. Bokor Mountain Lodge is also the only hotel in Kampot to accept payment by credit card.
