A lovingly restored colonial classic overlooking the river, the Bokor Mountain Lodge is Kampot's only true boutique hotel, with just six impeccably appointed guest rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned and enjoy en-suite hot water bathroom facilities, cable TV and WiFi Internet connection The Lodge also features a very popular restaurant and bar serving western and local favourites, with great views across the river to the mountains beyond - a great place to catch Kampot's famous sunsets. The hotel is western-managed and owned, and charges a reasonable US$20 - US$45 per night including breakfast depending on season and type of room. The Lodge also features a family suite which can sleep up to five people at US$55 per night.. Book ahead for rooms one and two which both enjoy stunning views across the river. Bokor Mountain Lodge is also the only establishment in Kampot which accepts credit cards. |

- Link Popular, western-owned and managed guesthouse with attached restaurant and bar. Good value, air-con and fan-cooled rooms plus a pleasant rooftop terrace with great views across the river. The intimate and welcoming atmosphere at the Little Garden has earned the guesthouse a great reputation, with guests coming back year after year. The venue is also well wired iuntro the local volunteering network and the management can offer excellent advice for would-be volunteers. Room rates run from around US$10 to US$20 per night.

The Orchid Guesthouse is a relative newcomer to the guesthouse scene in Kampot but is generating plenty of interest with visitors to the town. Located across the street to the long-popular Blissful guesthouse and restaurant, the Orchid offers good value rooms for around US$10 to US15 with air-conditioning set in a pleasant garden. |
