Siem Reap is relatively well equipped with Internet cafes although, as elsewhere in the country, high-speed penetration is not as comprehensive as in some other regional destinations. The main ISPs (Internet Service Providers) are Camshin, Camintel, Camnet and Online, all of whom offer prepaid cards usually providing for connection at around US$1 to US$2 per hour depending on connection speed and time of use. Most major hotels - and many smaller hostelries - offer Internet facilities, with the pricier (or more enlightened) operations offering WiFi or in-room ADSL access. Pre-paid cards from Online also provide access to WiFi "Hot Spots" which are strategically located around town, mostly in bars and restaurants. A few of these places provide their own access to the web, sometimes at a price, sometimes free of charge for customers.
