A decent, tourist-focussed hotel, the Fortune offers clean, comfortable rooms combined with a comprehensive range facilities including choice of four restaurants and two bars, pool, health club, business centre and more. The Fortune Hotel is especially popular with Asian visitors to the capital. Room rates run from around THB 2,800.

Originally developed as serviced apartments, these small studios are available on short term lets (daily, weekly, monthly etc.) and represent very good value for medium-term stays. Room amenities include personal safe, 32" satellite TV, DVD player and stereo system, fully-equipped kitchette with microwave, WiFi Internet access and more, while hotel facilities include three swimming pools, fitness centre, sauna and a fully-staffed business centre. Amenities include satellite TV, music system, in-room safe, fridge, IDD phone, Internat connection and individual air-conditioning, while hotel facilities include fitness centre, meeting room and business lounge, restaurant and massage service. The City Inn is not easy to find, tucked down a small alley towards the river-end of Silom. Fair value at around THB 1,500 including breakfast.
