National Museum

Phnom Penh's National Museum is another "must do"on any visit the city. A stunning colonial-Khmer building painted a distinctive red ochre, the museum houses an incredible collection of Angorian-era statuary, alongside more recent collections and Buddhist figures.

The National Museum is located downtown, next to the Ryal Palace on the corner of Street 178 and Sotheros Boulevard, just a stones throw from the river.

Open times are: 8 am to 5 pm every day and admission is US$3 for foreigners.
