The Millennium Resort Patong, Phuket Hotel
has opened for business in the heart of famous Patong Beach in
Phuket, one of Thailand's leading resort towns.
Millennium Resort Patong hotel is owned by
Phuket Square Company Ltd and managed by M&C. Phuket Square
Company Ltd is the owner and developer of the Phuket Jungceylon
shopping and leisure complex where the M&C hotel is
located.
In March 2006, Real Estate Capital Asia
Partners L.P (RECAP) through Dolruethai Co.,Ltd acquired a 95%
interest in the Phuket Jungceylon project, a mega hotel and retail
complex of two million square feet. RECAP is a private real estate
fund in which the City Developments Limited Group (CDL) has
significant interest with a US-based investment fund and other
limited partners.
Conveniently located on Rat-Uthit Road at
the intersection of Bangla Street in Patong, a popular area in
Phuket, the Millennium Resort Patong consists of two wings known as
the Beachside and Lakeside.
The Beachside wing at the Millennium
Resort Patong comprises a total of 197 rooms and takes up 19,000
square metres of the built up area. Part of the property sits on
top of the retail centre and caters to up-market tour groups and
families on vacation. The Bar 8°, which is located at the
hotel's modern and contemporary atrium, offers live music.
This wing boasts superior and deluxe
rooms, as well as junior suites complemented with spacious
balconies and additional pantry facilities for long-term guests.
The Beachside's restaurant, Straits Dining, serves buffet
breakfast and delectable Southeast Asian cuisines.
The Lakeside wing offers superior and
deluxe rooms, cabanas, as well as executive suites. The Lakeside
consists of 224 rooms and sits beside a mega mart, a well-known
department store, multiplex cinema and bowling alley.
Its F&B outlet, Bistro, is all-day
dining restaurant which serves Western, Continental and Thai
specialties. The Lounge 98° offers a cozy yet modern setting
for guests to unwind or relax with friends for cocktails.
The Millennium Resort Patong, Phuket will
have two swimming pools, one of which will be an outdoor pool
surrounded by cabana-style guestrooms. Other leisure amenities
include a state-of-the-art fitness centre and luxurious spa
facilities with individual suites offering Thai and international
massage therapy.
