Saito has introduced a stylish new concept in Vietnamese and
Asian dining to Ho Chi Minh City. The fashionable, contemporary
restaurant is housed in a peaceful, beautifully restored villa in
the heart of old Saigon.
The serene terrace garden offers the option of wining and dining
under the stars, while the main dining room features an eclectic
mixture of influences from around the Asia Pacific region.
Beautiful tapestries, intricate art works, decorative linens and
other little touches create an intimate, relaxing ambiance, all
watched over by a large, smiling Buddha figure at the head of the
room.
The food is cutting edge Vietnamese and Asian fusion, with a
sizable menu of Vegetarian options and western specialities. All
dishes are cooked to order using the freshest ingredients purchased
every day from local markets. The results are delicious, and very
sensibly priced.
For a business lunch, Saito offers a daily set menu for less
than four dollars, and the a la carte dishes are offered at a hefty
discount for business diners.
Saito also features a private dining room with attached lounge
seating and its own bathroom facilities - an excellent venue for a
high powered corporate luncheon or dinner, a celebration or other
social event.
In addition to the restaurant and terrace, Saito also features a
long, inviting, open-air bar for pre-dinner cocktails or a social
drink after work or during the day.
Finally, an attached shop offers a wide selection of traditional
handicrafts, table ware and even furniture at reasonable
prices.
Items on offer for sale include beautiful lacquerware, glasses
and place settings; tapestries and linens from around Vietnam and
the region; ceramic figures, statuettes and puppets; and original
clothing designs for both men and women.
