The Bacchus menu and the wine list are imaginative and command
respect for their blend of quality and value for money. The cuisine
might be called Japanese Mediterranean, which is not as confusing
as it sounds. There are 1,000 bottles of wine in the cellars with
280 different labels including some interesting discoveries, and
many good wines are on the list at between 1,200 and 1,600
